According to its exhibition policy focused on modern and contemporary Italian art, Galleria dello Scudo proposes a selection of artists chosen from among the main exponents of the historic avant-gardes and abstract art from the second half of the 20th century.<\/p>\n

From a rare futurist composition by Gino Severini<\/strong> painted in 1915 to a Still life<\/em> by Giorgio Morandi<\/strong> displayed in all the most important exhibitions dedicated to the artist; from the abstract sculpture by Leoncillo<\/strong>, always attentive to the chromatic value of the material, to the expressive power of Vedova<\/strong>\u2019s painting, the display offers an overview on the most internationally renowned Italian authors. Furthermore, particular attention is paid to the works by Edmondo Bacci<\/strong> who, since the 1950s, had in Peggy Guggenheim one of his most impassioned supporters.<\/p>\n
