Galleria dello Scudo proposes an unprecedented confrontation between Emilio Vedova and Arcangelo Sassolino, two artists with a presence on the international scene, both authors of works inspired by the perfection of the circle, a cosmos in which forces and forms, colors and lines cohabit. The Circle, a traditional symbol of maximum harmony and the only pictorial form whose center remains visually always at the same distance from the margin, becomes in Vedova the ideal field of action of a painting understood as an existential necessity; it introduces into disorder the principle of a higher order. Similarly, in Sassolino, the circle is the place of coexistence of all hierarchies and all times; it explodes all architecture, all centripetal force, to arrive at imagining the ubiquity of the center, its radiating to every point-instant in the universe.
