On the occasion of Arteinrete 2026, Galleria dello Scudo is reopening the exhibition “Carla Accardi oroargento. Dipinti 1964–1965” for one final time.

This is an opportunity to explore one of the most intense phases of Carla Accardi’s work through a collection of works brought together for the first time.

Large-scale canvases, some of which were already exhibited in Italy and abroad in the 1960s, that tell the story of a radical exploration of line and material.

The protagonists: gold and silver, pigments with which the artist constructs a unique dialogue between light, space, and painting.
A journey that conveys the full power of a vision capable of redefining the boundaries of abstract language.
