Arcangelo Sassolino. Not Human

In 2016 Jeffrey Uslip, Chief Curator at the Contemporary Art Museum in St. Louis, developed the idea of a complex exhibition project dedicated to Sassolino: Not Human is the title of the show held from 15 January 2016 at the Contemporary Art Museum in St. Louis, that brought together works created specifically for the occasion, accompanied by loans from private collections. Among them there was also the first version of D.P.D.U.F.A. (Dilatazione Pneumatica Di Una Forza Attiva)”, 2016, born from an idea elaborated in 2010 for the work D.P.D.U.F.V. (Dilatazione Pneumatica Di Una Forza Viva), presented at the time in Palazzo Strozzi in Florence. The second version of the work exhibited in St. Louis has been included in the solo show at Galleria dello Scudo in Verona.
