Nature and the landscape are themes usually present in the work by Giovanni Frangi, now represented at the Galleria dello Scudo with a selection of works on paper, some of which in large format. The ridge of a mountain studded with large boulders that take on bright colors, transfigured in the artist's imagination, water lilies that shine under the moonlight on a body of water obscured by night darkness, a wide sunny slope made monochrome by the dazzling light of the early morning, are some of the visions that are offered to the viewer's gaze.
