The exhibition compares contemporary Italian artists, linked together by the choice of choosing an abstract language expressed through ways sometimes very afar one from the other. The exhibition rooms propose heterogeneous works as for compositional solutions and expressive languages: canvases by Giovanni Frangi from 2001, based on black as the dominant color; works on panels by Giuseppe Gallo, where the artist experiments the unusual medium of fresco to give a peculiar luminosity to the background; recent mixed media on paper by Marco Gastini with the insertion of terracotta elements; large-sized collages on paper by Alessandro Roma, inspired by colorful imaginary landscapes.
