Giuseppe Gallo, "Memoria retrospettiva" 2009

Memoria retrospettiva (Retrospective memory) by Giuseppe Gallo is the polyptych in 34 elements executed in 2009, on show at Galleria dello Scudo from 12 September to 14 November 2020. In a single installation structure the artist summarizes the subjects elaborated since the 1980s, with iconic figures of the "philosophers" to the "amorous weavings", from the silhouettes of the "authoritarian self-portraits" to those of the "heroes" who inspired some of the most significant bronze creations.
