From 1930 onwards, Gino Severini follows his systematic engagement in drawing, creating also sketches for still-lifes which show suggestions and ideas already ripening during his stay in Paris. Doves, fruits, musical instruments merge in an inexhaustible series of solutions revealing that feature of supreme elegance and harmony present in his contemporary paintings, to which many works on paper are linked.
