Art Basel 2026
Hall. 2.0 stand G 10

16-21 June 2026

In June Galleria dello Scudo will be present at Art Basel with a selection of modern and contemporary Italian art. Compositions from the 1920s by Giacomo Balla and Giorgio de Chirico appear alongside canvases by Carla Accardi from the 1960s. The Expressionist movement in Italian painting is documented by a large painting by Emilio Vedova, executed in 1962, with a strong chromatic force, and by Leoncillo’s glazed terracotta works, which reaffirm the originality of his language. Noteworthy is the sculptor Alberto Viani with the plaster cast preceding the execution of the marble work now at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
