The catalogue, published on the occasion of the exhibition on show at the Galleria dello Scudo from 14 December 2024 to 26 April 2025, documents the first decade of Nunzio's work with a selection of fifteen works from the 1980s coming from Fabio Sargentini's collection. On the one hand, the sculptor considered among the most promising young artists at the time; on the other, the gallery owner who dedicated him three solo exhibitions, in 1984, 1986 and 1988.
From the painted plaster works to the painted and burnt wood installations carried out since 1985, the publication reconstructs the different moments of a creative phase of great ferment, appreciated not only nationally, marked by important awards such as the 2000 Prize as best young artist obtained in 1986 on the occasion of the XLII Venice Biennale.
